The Light Laser (Ultra Refresh) has essentially zero downtime — mild warmth that dissipates within hours. The Ultra Laser causes a sandpaper-like skin texture for 5–7 days on the face, up to 14 days for neck and chest. Full aftercare guidance including gentle cleansing, moisturizer, and strict sun protection for 2 weeks post-treatment is provided.
Yes — because RF energy is delivered beneath the skin surface through insulated needles, it bypasses melanin-containing layers that cause hyperpigmentation with laser. Genius is safe for all Fitzpatrick skin types including Asian, Middle Eastern, Hispanic, and African American skin.
Both are botulinum toxin type A formulations. Dysport® has a slightly smaller molecular size, allowing it to spread a little further — advantageous for larger areas like the forehead. Results typically appear in 2–3 days vs. 5–7 for Botox®. Both last 3–4 months. Dr. Volpp will discuss which option best fits your anatomy and goals.

This depends on your treatment and goals. A single Lutronic® Refresh provides meaningful glow. For pigmentation or acne scarring, we recommend 3–6 sessions 4–6 weeks apart. Genius RF results peak at 6 months with a series of 3–4 recommended. Hair regeneration protocols are typically 4 sessions. Your protocol will be outlined at consultation.
